Some recent reports show that the Yazidis are going through important changes in the development of their community. A group of Iraqi Yazidi Kurds had met some of Indian Parsis in Dubai and declared themselves to be of Zoroastrian faith. As it is mentioned in the newsletter of the abovementioned organization, a Yazidi who is supposed to be one of the Emirs of this community along with some of his followers were keen to go to India »to establish links and be recognized as fellow Zoroastrians as well as to know more about the religion and its customs and practices as practiced in India» I later came to know that this group of Yazidis have established a Zoroastrian association in Paris in 1983 and the above- mentioned Emir has published a book called: «To us spoke Zarathustra»….
